CFQ010 - Dirty Secretz - Drop Tha Beat

Dirty Secretz - Drop Tha Beat - Out Wed 29th April!

1. Original Mix
2. Filthy Rich's 'Tek Control' Remix
3. James Fitch's Shuffle mix Remix

Next up from the house of Filth is a cheeky little number that was signed instantly to Control Freq. Dirty Secretz are finally offering us up their monster anthem 'Drop Tha Beat', just in time to smash it out at the Miami Winter Music Conference. This elec-tro-tinged track is an immaculate piece of production, sure to connect with crowds everywhere.

The duo have gone from strength to strength, gaining popularity as they rise above the masses, with their unique fresh sound and unrivaled hot talent. Their passion is evident in their work, with their strengths and styles complimenting each other to perfection. Their live sets are something of an event, with few DJs genuinely able to provoke such a reaction on the dancefloor.

Securing a hectic gig schedule all over the Midlands, the demand on live sets from the pair will go through the roof once 'Drop Tha Beat' hits the clubs. Always bang-ing out an unmissable night - catch them while you can at their infamous night in Leicester at Helsinki's.

First up on remix duty is label head-honcho and future hero, Filthy Rich himself. Never afraid to do something different and refusing to limit himself, Rich puts his own filthy stamp on 'Drop Tha Beat', coming with a more heads down approach in his new 'tekky' direction. The genius behind his work is that whilst never going out of his way to be credible, Rich always effortlessly achieves just this at everything he turns his hand to. Witness the wonder that is Filthy Rich at upcoming gigs at Ministry of Sound, UK House Mafia at Koko and his residency Kiss Da Funk throughout the year.

Next up is none other than James Fitch, a legend close to the heart of Control Freq. His exciting style provides some 'dutch' flavour with his shuffled beats and trademark groove; add to this his forward-thinking and technical genius and the results are more energetic than ever. See the raw talent that is James Fitch at one stop on his grueling tour as one half of Prok & Fitch across Brighton, Russia, Belfast, Amsterdam and even Miami.

CFQ009 - Filthy Rich - Dirty Freak 2009

Control Freq is currently sitting at number 11 in the djdownload.com sales chart and inside the top 30 in the Electro House chart on Beatport.

.........................

The heart of the Filthy Rich empire, Control Freq Records, kicked off to a flying start earlier this year, going from strength to strength, gaining praise and popularity as the label thunders on. Every track, like the recent “Make You Freq,” has been a huge hit with crowds and industry alike, taking dancefloors by storm not only in the UK but across the whole globe.

With his unarguable approach to music, Rich has been playing his distinctive dirty sets up and down the country, regularly hitting London, Brighton and Manchester. Things are on the up, as he will kick off 2009 with a South American tour in January, showing the likes of San Paulo and Rio just how filthy it can be.

Rich is the boy who can do no wrong and this next offering proves no different. Demonstrated by support from key heavy weight figures in the dance world such as Steve Lawler and Carl Cox, Filthy Rich, our young DJ/Producer develops further and gets more credible with every release. With his latest track, Filthy Rich gets down, dirty and takes it all the way back to the beginning with a fresh take on “Dirty Freak.” Rich has updated and rehashed “Dirty Freak,” his first ever track released, all the way back in 2005 on UMM. Rich has brought the track screaming and shouting bang up to date by throwing in just what everybody wants - a filthy vocal - and just in time for the party season.

As always Rich has equipped us with the complete package, another irresistible gem of electro heaven for those of you out there who just wanna dance, “Dirty Freak 2009” is going to be unstoppable.
